Dr.Web Anti-virus supports Windows 7

The Russian anti-virus vendor Doctor Web announced the release of updated Dr.Web products for Windows.

Dr.Web Anti-virus is compatibility with Windows 7 and adds several improvements to Dr.Web for Windows.

1.A new object access subsystem for the anti-rootkit module that doesn’t use features of an OS and can't be blocked by a rootkit;
2.The autorun scan now also can check and restore a modified HOSTS file;
3.Improved compatibility with virtual machines;
4.A fix of an error when the scanner froze while checking removable IDE/SCSI disks;
5.A fix of an error that made the scanner freeze when it was launched using the context menu;

Dr.Web for Windows 7 and subscribers to the Dr.Web anti-virus service to update their anti-viruses.
