Tips to improve performance of Windows XP

Hi all. Although many take for Windows XP dead, many people are still depending on our computers. We know you have good and bad things also usually people do not usually take full advantage of this system, or configure it properly to optimize it to our liking, so today I will share with these little tips that will help improve performance of your Windows XP.

 

Remove effects

1st: Right click on the "My Computer" and then click the Properties option.
2nd: Click on the tab "Advanced" in the Performance box click settings do.
3rd: In the effects tab desmarcaremos all options, we will accept and welcome the System Properties window.

Disk Cleanup

1st: Click on Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools and look for the "Disk Cleanup"
2nd: Alli will give them to choose the disk you want to clean. If they only have 1 disk appear Drive C: which is the default system .. and if you have partitioned the hard show them the other.
3rd: Mark the boxes that seem useless
4th: Then click on OK. I jumped a window that will tell them if they are safe, give click "Yes" and there begins to delete the files.

Using the RAM

1st: Make right click on the "My Computer" and select the Properties option.
2nd: Click on the tab "Advanced" and Performance in the choose box configuration.
3rd: Click the tab "Advanced"
4th: By default you should have marked the two options: "Programming the processor and memory usage" Programs.
5th: Click the option that is below that says "Change"
6th: Selects the drive "C:". Select the "Custom Size"
7th: Depending on your ram, for example if they have 512 of ram it is advisable to place as "Initial Size: 128" and "Maximum Size: 256"
8th: Then we will set up and click on OK.
9th: In the Performance Options window will give you click apply and the property also. If asked to restart the pc Do this so that the change occurs.
