5 Tricks to save energy with your computer

 Today it is very common to hear or see campaigns to care for and improve the environment, in order to prevent global warming and other factors that are gradually altering and damaging our planet, and one of the best ways to help and our case contribute to this noble cause is to save energy with our computer equipment.

1. Turn off the computer: If you will not use your computer for a long time and this is not performing any functions until you're ahead, you should turn it off. Save energy throughout the month and a few dollars on our electric bill.
2.  Forget the screen saver: If instead you have to leave the computer doing some task or while you're not using it is little to turn it off, forget the screen saver: turn off the computer screen. The screensaver can be very beautiful and graceful, but are often unhelpful, unnecessarily expend energy and not much point in wearing it, especially if nobody can see. It is best to turn off the monitor and highly recommended to configure the power management of our team to turn off after a few minutes to avoid blind spots.
3.  Good maintenance is important: This happens especially in desktops, but laptops do not escape it either: dust. It is very important to maintain clean inside the computer, using all the pieces are gathering dust and this can affect performance. For example, if your sink is full of dust will not function properly, the temperature will drop and the fan will work more quickly, wasting energy. Clean the dust inside the computer once in a while is fine, not only save energy but the team will suffer less.
4.  Turn off your peripherals: For a while there are wireless devices, among which are the mouse and keyboard. They work with internal batteries or battery and have the option to turn it off. During the night, shut it down for longer work and save some battery you have, sure that the batteries will last somewhat longer and not have to buy as often. It is also very annoying when the mouse or keyboard looses power and starts to ignore some of our actions.
5.  Everything from a single source supply: It is highly recommended to have an outlet where you connect all the elements that make up our team and this is allowed off the power (with the typical button on / off). Off the power when we are not using our team we will ensure that no energy is wasted, as some teams maintain some elements using energy-poor-such as the network card. It will also save small scares, if a power surge can cause short and protect not only our team but also reduce the possibility of fire.
